iPhone 4S Now Available for Pre-order in Singapore

Apple has began posting iPhone 4S pre-order notice at their online stores for the 22 countries they previously said will have the taste of iPhone 4S before the end of October. One of them is Singapore. If you check store.apple.com/sg, you can see that the new iPhone 4S is now ready for pre-order.

iPhone 4S now available in Singapore

iPhone 4S in Singapore starts at S$ 948.00 for 16GB model.In peso, it will translate to around 33000 pesos. The price was also for an unlock version. Those with wireless contract is distributed by the carriers and are at a lower price.

iPhone 4S Philippines

For the Philippines, we can expect that unlocked iPhone 4S will begin to appear at grey markets. And as one should expect, it will be of very high price. I can estimate it to be about 50,000 pesos especially if it’s ordered internationally.

Apple has yet to announce the availabilty of iPhone 4S in the Philippines. I hope they will begin selling unlocked versions too because currently, the only official iPhone distributor is Globe Telecom and it is locked to it.
