How to Receive FREE Google Calendar Notifications on Your Mobile Phone?

Are you having problems regarding your time management? Well, there’s a free service called “Google Calendar” that can help you organize all you activities in a day. And one cool thing about this service is the ability to notify you via your mobile phone using SMS or text message. For example, if you have three meetings in a particular day, Google will send you notifications for each meeting. And the best part in this service is that it is absolutely FREE! Yes, no single penny have to be spent using this service.

Also, you do not need a smartphone to avail this service. All you need is a phone that can receive a SMS or Text message and a SIM card from supported carriers. See note below for the supported carriers.

So, here’s  the step-by-step guide on how you can activate your Google Calendar Mobile Notifications:

Note: Before doing anything, please make sure you have a Google and a Gmail account. If you don’t have make one here. If you already have one, here’s what to do:

1. Go to Google.com or Gmail.com and on the top bar of the page (black bar), click on the “Calendar” link.

2. On the Calendar Interface, go to the “Settings” page.

3. On the Calendar Settings page, go to the “Mobile Setup”.

4. On the Mobile Setup page, enter your mobile number. Click  “Send Verification Code” and enter the six-digit code that will be sent to your mobile number. Don’t forget to save.
