Google Nexus 7 Unofficial Availability in the Philippines
Google’s newly released tablet product, the Nexus 7 is now unofficially offered in the Philippines. This is through gray markets such as Ebay and other online retailers. And since this is an “unofficial” availability, you would naturally expect it to be overpriced. For instance , the Ebay seller offers the 8GB Nexus 7 at 15, 990 Pesos. For comparison, the 8GB Nexus 7 is being sold in the US at 199 USD price point which is around 8400 Pesos at the prevailing US dollar-peso exchange rate. Super-overpriced isn’t it? We’ll, it doesn’t matter anyway because we all have the choice whether to buy it or wait for the official availability.
