Tech Tip: Where to Find Your SIM’s PUK?
Although few people today use PIN in their SIM cards, there are still considerable number of phone users who does. During the early rise of cellular phones, when SIM cards are very expensive (1000 pesos), many uses this security feature to protect their privacy. But as you all know, with three failed attempts to enter the correct PIN, your SIM card will be locked. The only way to unlock it is by using PUK (PIN Unblock Key).
Where to get the PUK?
When you purchased the SIM card, the PUK is written at the back of the card holding the SIM. But only few people keep that card. Well, aside from that, if you are a SMART subscriber and have my.Smart online account you can generate your PUK from there.
